Part of a new extension to a period home. This bedroom posed a real design challenge because windows on three sides left only one wall free to allow for ceiling-high storage and the entrance doorway. The solution was an inventive approach which positioned the doorway within the custom-built floor-to-ceiling wardrobes. Continuous panelling and consistent colour helped to keep any visual disruption to a minimum and lent the room a coherent and calming feel so important in a bedroom.
